Hettinger City Sales Tax: Shall the City of Hettinger amend its Home Rule Charter to adopt the proposed amendment to Article 3 of the Home Rule Charter, which would authorize the City Council to adopt Ordinances increasing the retail sales and use tax from one percent (1%) to one and one-half percent (1 1/2%); and further providing that the tax shall not exceed thirty seven dollars and fifty cents ($37.50) on any single purchase or sales transaction involving one or more items.
