Bowman County Measure No. 1: The Bowman County Commissioners have received notice of intention to approve the permit for Petrocomp, a Division of D&M Water, Inc. - Permit 0357 from the North Dakota Department of Health. Pursuant to N.D.C.C. 23-29-07 (2), the Bowman County Commissioners have called a special election to be held with the primary election on this matter. The question for the election will allow the citizens of Bowman County to vote on whether or not to approve the permitting of the waste dump in Bowman County. If a majority of the qualified electors vote to disapprove the waste dump, the North Dakota Department of Health may not issue the permit under NDCC 23-29-07.
